Erica A. Arias
Erica is a highly respected leadership development and nonprofit executive with over 19 years of experience. Her areas of expertise include innovative leadership practices, organizational culture assessments, governance, business strategy, nonprofit board development, and strategic planning. She has successfully trained and mentored constituencies in the nonprofit sector, law enforcement, higher education, and startups. Erica's leadership and nonprofit development skills have afforded her the ability to build diverse networks and deeply dive into local communities to build strong bridges for reciprocal relationships. She has led organizations in diverse sectors through challenging times with thoughtful consulting practices and action oriented guidance. Currently, Erica is also the executive officer of one of LAPD's premier nonprofit organizations. Erica earned her Bachelor of Science & Master of Education both from the University of La Verne and her Executive Master of Leadership from the University of Southern California (Fight on!) She is also a USC Bridges to Business Alumna and a University of San Diego Nonprofit Capacity and Resiliency Building Fellow. Erica has taught business planning, strategic leadership, and emotional intelligence courses for the University of Southern California and Mt. San Antonio College. Erica was recently awarded one of Los Angeles' Most Influential Nonprofit Leaders of 2023 by the LA Business Journal. She is passionate about shaping the most successful, knowledgeable, ethical, and courageous leaders.

Adam Garcia
Adam Garcia is an active duty police officer for the city of Los Angeles with 22 years of service. During his career, he has worked multiple geographical divisions and assignments. In addition to patrol, he has also served as a Field Training Officer, worked specialized units, and plain clothes operations. He has been involved in numerous tactical operations and has demonstrated his exemplary leadership and supervisory skills in multiple critical incidents. In 2017, Adam was promoted to the rank of Patrol Sergeant, an assignment he still serves in today.
In addition to his field experience, Adam also holds multiple Instructor Certifications in Arrest and Control, Field Officer Safety and Tactics, and Force Options Simulator. He is also a state certified subject Matter Expert in Use of Force and Tactical De-Escalation.
Adam is a frim believer in servant leadership. Whereas a “traditional leader” sees leadership as a rank to obtain, he believes leadership is an opportunity to sever others. Adam has a marquee saying: “people hate to follow orders, but they love to follow leaders.”
Due to his lengthy services in operations, Adam brings a unique blend of tactical and leadership experience.
